OPIR has conducted hundreds of survey projects using our own instruments as well as standardized instruments from other research institutes or other national organizations. OPIR has established a library of a sample of instruments that we have used over the years. This library is useful in identifying the types of data that we have collected for purposes of data mining. This library is also useful to individuals interested in developing their own surveys, with these instruments serving as samples upon which to draw questions and/or formats.
The instruments are organized in folders either by the group that is surveyed (e.g., Seniors, First Year Students, Parents, Faculty/Staff, etc.) or by the type of survey (e.g., Exit Survey, Climate Survey, Evaluation Survey, etc.) Access the Survey Instruments library, where you can navigate through and see the folders in the window to the right. Click on a folder or a document icon to open it.
