Students who are applying to the program should ensure that all requirements and materials are received in order to be reviewed by the admission committee. Applicants will be notified of acceptance early in the spring semester so that they can plan to attend the on-campus orientation and summer session. All accepted applicants must submit a $1000.00 non-refundable Hold My Seat fee which will be applied to the graduation fee upon completion of the program.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Nurse Administrator applicants must have a master’s degree in nursing with an overall grade point average of 3.5 or higher. APRNs must hold current and unrestricted licensure in nursing in a jurisdiction of the United States and hold a current and unrestricted Advanced Practice Nursing License as a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or a Certified Nurse-Midwife. APRN applicants must also hold a national certification in their advanced practice specialty. Nurse Administrators must hold current and unrestricted licensure in nursing in a jurisdiction of the United States. Nurse Administrators are strongly encouraged to have a national certification in nursing administration. Applicants should have taken a college level nursing research course and received a grade of 3.0 or higher.
