Students who are applying to the program should ensure that all requirements and materials are received in order to be reviewed by the admission committee. Applicants will be notified of acceptance early in the spring semester so that they can plan to attend the on-campus orientation and summer session. All accepted applicants must submit a $1000.00 non-refundable Hold My Seat fee.

Prerequisites
Applicants to the doctoral program should have a master’s degree in nursing with an overall grade point average of 3.5 or higher, hold current and unrestricted licensure in nursing in a jurisdiction of the United States and hold a current and unrestricted Advanced Practice Nursing License as a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or a Certified Nurse-Midwife. Applicants should have taken a college level nursing research course and received a grade of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must also hold a national certification in their advanced practice specialty.
