The Taste of the Holidays

Food, food and more food…the holidays are just around the corner!
Research shows people gain around five pounds over the holiday season. That doesn’t sound TERRIBLE – if people were to lose that weight after the holidays were over - but most people never lose that weight and retain those pounds (and more) year after year. Don’t get stuck in this cycle of holiday weight gain. Learn how to cook delicious and healthy food that will please your holiday guests, your senses and your waistline.
Join your chef instructor, Libby Mills, MS, RDN, LDN, FAND who will arm you with recipes for flavorful appetizers, crunchy snacks, savory bites and decadent sweet treats. Taste your way through holiday dishes that are as delectable and wowing as they are good for you.

The Taste of Summer Cooking Course went off without a hitch! Participants enjoyed tasting the food (including spicy edamame, beef with zucchini noodles and chocolate covered bananas) and learning cooking tips from master chef and dietitian Libby Mills MS RD LDN RAND.
