Continuing Education in Nursing and Health Care Assistant Professor
The Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) program is led by professional development expert Assistant Dean and Director Lynore DeSilets, EdD, RN-BC who was involved in the original grant-funded CE program. Dr. DeSilets is a new member of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC-COA). Prior to this appointment she had served as an appraiser for ANCC's Commission on Accreditation for 20 years. She is an associate editor for the Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing. Dr. DeSilets previously chaired the Content Expert Panel for the ANCC certification exam in Nursing Professional Development and has served on the Board for Certification for ANCC
