  • Super Fresh Food Drive, 1305 West Chester Pike, Havertown, 9 am – 5 pm

Saturday, November 10

  • Super Fresh Food Drive, 1305 West Chester Pike, Havertown, 9 am – 5 pm

Sunday, November 11

  • Super Fresh Food Drive, 1305 West Chester Pike, Havertown, 9 am – 5 pm
  • Mass Focused on Hunger and Homelessness, 5:30, 7 and 9 pm 

Monday, November 12         

  • CRS Fair Trade speaker, location TBA, 4 pm
  • **Keynote Speaker, Janet Poppendieck, Driscll Auditorium, 7 pm
  • Can Collections, Sparket and 2nd Storey, 9 – 11 pm

Tuesday, November 13

  • Wendell Berry Lecture, Villanova Room, 4 pm
  • Faces of Christ Reflection, Corr Chapel, 8 pm – 9:15 pm

Wednesday, November 14

  • Fair Trade Craft Sale, Connelly Center, 9 – 5 pm
  • 5K Run with Back On My Feet, 4:30 pm
  • Can Collections, Sparket and 2nd Storey, 7 – 9 pm

Thursday, November 15

  • Fast Day during lunch hours, in collaboration with CRS
  • Bread and Soup Lunch, Villanova Room, 11:30 am – 2 pm
  • * *Faces of Homelessness Panel, Driscoll Auditorium, 4:30 – 6 pm
  • Solidarity Sleep Out, Oreo, Kennedy Ellipse/Connelly Patio, 9 pm

Friday, November 16

  • Turkey Drive, drop-off at St. Rita's Hall, 9 am – 11 am

About Father Ray Jackson

Fr. Ray Jackson was born in New York City in 1933. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, he joined the Augustinian Order at Villanova University. He graduated from Villanova in 1961 and was ordained a priest in 1965.

What We Seek to Do

HHAW seeks to:

Raise awareness about global poverty, hunger and homelessness.

Fundraise for international relief and development organizations.

Provide an opportunity for Villanova students to combine education with action.

Promote a deeper understanding of what it means to live out the Gospel and the Augustinian values of peace and justice.
