Freshmen Coach: Brian Kasper
Entering his third year at Villanova, Brian has focused on growing the numbers of the team and quality of athletes in his role as Freshmen Coach. Under his direction, the team has developed a system of attracting competitive and determined athletes to the program. In that time the roster has doubled.
Results have also followed from both recruiting and training efforts. In 2011, Brian led the Villanova Frosh 4+ to a silver medal at the Dad Vail Regatta. This was the programs first medal at the regatta in nearly a decade.
Brian comes to the program from Boston College, where he was a 3 year varsity rower in addition to serving as program president and treasurer. As an athlete, Brian rowed in the Eagle's Varsity 8+ during the 2009-2010 season. As president, Brian coordinated coach hiring, recruiting, travel, equipment purchases and general business matters. As treasurer he coordinated budget, fund raising and expenses
Brian is currently studying law as a member of the Villanova Law class of 2013.
