Assessing the CISG and Other International Endeavors to Unify International Contract Law

The 2013 Villanova Law Review Norman J. Shachoy Symposium explores whether the United Nations should, as the Government of Switzerland has proposed, undertake a study to consider drafting a new convention on international sales law. The symposium features the leading authorities on the subject of international sales law from across the globe, including the Secretary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), The Honorable Renaud Sorieul, and the U.S. State Department’s Assistant Legal Adviser for Private International Law, Keith Loken.

The symposium takes place on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Villanova University School of Law (299 North Spring Mill Road, Villanova, Pennsylvania).
