Summary
A certified nurse-midwife and expert in maternal-newborn health care, Dr. Trout has a special interest in prenatal health care for the Hispanic population. In addition to teaching at Villanova, she provides full-scope midwifery care to clients at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. With over 25 years of professional experience in maternal-child health as a nurse, educator and midwife, she can discuss all aspects of maternal, prenatal and post-natal health care, including gestational diabetes and caring for vulnerable populations.
