Ten years ago, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, causing severe destruction from central Florida to Texas. The costliest natural disaster to hit the country, Katrina was also one of the deadliest storms in the history of the United States. Villanova University faculty experts can discuss lessons learned from the disaster, as well as what’s been done since to make communities along the coast safer.
