Associate Dean for Finance and Administration
The Associate Dean for Finance and Administration is the Chief Operations Officer for the Law School. The Associate Dean manages Law School financial resources and oversees budget planning and administration including projections, regular reviews and quarterly forecasts for all accounts. In addition, the Associate Dean develops and implements plans for cost effective use of existing resources and for effective use of new resources as needed. The Associate Dean is responsible for human resource management for non-faculty employees, including the administration of the annual performance evaluation and merit raise program for non-faculty employees. The Associate Dean is responsible space management, physical plant maintenance and improvements. The Associate Dean assumes responsibility for functions and projects as delegated by the Dean, assumes a significant role in rethinking the administrative functions at the Law School, and serves as a member, with other Associate Deans, of the Dean’s Management team for the Law School. The Associate Dean works with other departments at Villanova University, including the Controller’s Office, Facilities, Human Resources, Procurement and UNIT.
