The Rules of Fashion: Understanding the Regulatory Side of the Fashion Industry

Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law hosts the Fourth Annual Fashion Law Symposium, which will bring together lawyers and non-lawyers to examine the various regulations that fashion designers and companies regularly encounter. This year’s event will include discussions on the interaction between the fashion industry and employment law, real estate, international sourcing and production.

Sponsored by the Fashion Law Society and the John F. Scarpa Center for Law and Entrepreneurship, this symposium features fashion experts and trendsetters in the industry, including Justin Zamparelli, General Counsel at Vineyard Vines; Michael Marra, Co-Regional Managing Partner at Fisher Phillips; Nadeem Malik, Senior Store Design Project Manager - International at Michael Kors; and Alexa McDevitt '15, Associate Corporate Counsel, David's Bridal.

The symposium takes place on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 1  p.m. in the Laurence E. Hirsch '71 Classroom (Room 101) of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law (299 North Spring Mill Road, Villanova). This program is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education board for 3.5 substantive CLE credits.
