2016 Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal Symposium

Moorad 2016

Examining daily fantasy sports—one of today's hottest sports topics—from a legal, regulatory and business perspective

The Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law hosts its signature event—the annual Sports Law Symposium—on Friday, April 1, 2016. This year's symposium, A Changing Game: Challenging the Status Quo in Sports Law, will analyze the hard-hitting legal and business issues in sports today.

Daily fantasy sports—a hot-button issue from a legal, regulatory and business perspective—is the headline topic for our roster of industry leaders. The discussion also includes the evolution of the NCAA’s legal and business landscape and a view of pro sports from one of the nation's top agents and a two-time Super Bowl champion.

The symposium takes place on Friday, April 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Arthur M. Goldberg ’66 Commons at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law (299 North Spring Mill Road, Villanova, PA). This program is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 3 CLE substantive credits.
