Take Jami Wintz McKeon VLS ’81, who will be at the helm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a global law firm headquartered in Philadelphia, when she becomes chair in October. She will lead more than 1,600 legal professionals—including lawyers, patent agents, benefits advisers, regulatory scientists and other specialists—in 25 global offices in her new role.
When it came time to appoint her replacement as head of the firm’s 450-lawyer litigation department, Morgan Lewis tapped Gordon Cooney VLS ’84 as her successor and turned to Timothy Levin VLS ’95 to fill Cooney’s role as managing partner of the Philadelphia office. The promotions result in a Villanova alumni leadership trifecta at one of Philadelphia’s most prestigious law firms.
