Villanova University School of Law’s Center for Law, Entrepreneurship and Innovation is hosting a lecture entitled “Becoming the Entrepreneur of Your Own Career.” The event will be held on Tuesday, March 25 in Law School Room 102 at Noon. Join us for an interactive session with longtime entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr. Richard Caruso.
Dr. Caruso is the founder of the Uncommon Individual Foundation, which developed “Open Mentoring” to help individuals achieve their dreams. He encourages young professionals to become their own entrepreneurs, even when they are working for others. Dr. Caruso founded the Provco Group, which invests in entrepreneurial activities, in 1978. In 1989, he founded Integra LifeSciences Corporation, which created a new branch of medicine known as Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Caruso was recognized for his efforts in entrepreneurship in 2006 when he was named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year. He holds a BS from Susquehanna University, an MS and BA from Bucknell University, and a PhD from the London School of Economics.
