Dean Mark Alexander and members of the law school comminity will honor graduating students who have attained Latin Honors (Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, or Cum Laude), will be inducted into the Order of the Coif, or will receive selected commencement awards. This event takes place on Thursday May 18, 2017 at noon in the Arthur M. Goldberg Commons. By Invitation only. This event is for the graduating students only and does not include guests.
All graduates and guests attending the Law School's Commencement activities should park in the Law School's parking garage. Continuous shuttle bus service will be available to transport guests from the Law School to the Mass, from the Law School to the Pavilion, and from the Pavilion to the Law School following the ceremony.
Tickets are not necessary for the Law School's Commencement ceremony. Each graduate may invite an unlimited number of guests to attend the day's events.
Public Safety officers will direct guests requiring drop-off or handicapped parking.
At the Commencement ceremony, there is a designated section of floor seating for guests in wheelchairs or unable to manage the bleachers. Given space limitations, we ask that only 1 family member and the guest with special needs sit in this area.
Detailed information about 3L cap and gown pick-up requirements was sent to all graduating students from the Career Strategy office. Students must complete all exit requirements prior to caps and gown pick-up.
Distribution dates and times are coordinated by the Career Strategy Office. Any remaining regalia will be available on Commencement morning at the Pavilion, prior to the ceremony.
All Cap and Gowns must be returned immediately after the ceremony to the designated location at the Law School.
