The annual Reimel Moot Court competition is a great opportunity for alumni to come back to Villanova and help current law students by serving as judges. The Reimel Competition has become a hallmark of the Villanova Law experience, and this is due in large part to the cooperation of our alumni volunteers.
Every year, the Moot Court Board seeks alumni to judge the first and second rounds of the competition and decide which students get to move on to the later rounds. These two rounds typically take place in October.
In addition to judges who can commit to a specific time on a specific day, we are also looking for people who can volunteer as emergency judges, to fill in on short notice in case of a last-minute cancellation from other alumni.
To volunteer as a judge or emergency judge, please fill out the alumni online interest form.
