Scholarships are one of the types of financial aid that can be available to you to help finance your education.  It is usually the most sought after type of aid because it typically refers to money for college that you are not expected to repay.  Scholarships can be grouped into the following categories:

  • Innovation Scholars Program - The Innovation Scholars program, which provides full-tuition, three year scholarships to eligible students, was established in 2014 to celebrate the launch of the Center for Law, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

  • Institutional Scholarships – These are scholarships that are offered by Villanova Law School and awarded to students who meet certain criteria that can range from merit and academic achievement to financial need.  You are automatically reviewed for most of the scholarships after you are accepted to the law school, but there are a few scholarships that require the submission of a personal statement or financial aid paperwork.

  • Outside Scholarships – Some private companies and social organizations may offer scholarships.  Villanova Law School is not associated with these groups, but we have composed a list of opportunities that we have been informed about in order to help you in your search.

  • Student Scholars Programs – All  admitted students are automatically evaluated and re-evaluated for our Dean’s Merit’s Scholarships. In addition to our Dean’s Scholars, we offer two special scholarship programs: Public Interest Scholars and Villanova Law Student Scholars.
