Common Questions

There are many opportunities for admitted students to visit the campus throughout the spring and summer. We strongly encourage you to attend our Admitted Students Day on Friday, March 24. Registration is available online. If you cannot attend that day, you may register for an admitted student information session or an individual visit through our website. Please contact the Admissions Office if you experience any issues while registering for an event.

Please keep in mind that the Law School hosts several programs throughout the year. Stay tuned to the Upcoming Events banner located in the right-hand column of the Admitted Student page. All listed events are open to admitted students.

Merit-based scholarships are awarded by the Admissions Office. Please note that the scholarship evaluation and notification process is ongoing - it begins in late January and continues through the deposit deadline. Your initial application to the Law School serves as an automatic application for all merit awards. Please note that admissions letters and scholarship awards are typically sent separately. The Admissions Office is available to answer your questions pertaining to merit-based scholarship funding.

To apply for financial aid at Villanova Law, please complete the steps outlined on our website.

The Scholarship Committee may accept requests to reconsider one's merit-based aid. A final determination will be rendered prior to your deposit deadline. You are welcome to send us copies of the other scholarship offers you are considering; we will add them to your file and make them available to the rest of the Scholarship Committee. Offers from institutions with which we share a significant number of admitted students (i.e., with similar entering class profiles) and which offer equivalent regional post-graduation outcomes will weigh more heavily on the decision-making process.

Villanova does not offer graduate housing. However, there are several options available to law students. Many current students live in the apartment complexes listed in our housing guide. Some apartment buildings exclusively rent to Villanova students. Keep in mind that these listings are just a small amount of the available apartments located near the Law School.

If you are interested in finding a roommate, contact the Admissions Office and ask to be included on the roommate list. This is a weekly-distributed list that contains contact information of other deposit-paid students seeking a roommate. Concurrently, you may join the Class of 2020 Facebook group to meet your future classmates and find a potential roommate.

Admitted students who have submitted their second deposit will receive their first-year class schedule and booklist in early August.
