Current Executive Board Members

Casey Schweppenheiser is the Chairperson of the 2014-2015 Moot Court Board. Last year, Casey competed at the Tulane Mardis Gras Sports Law Competition in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was also a Semi-finalist in the 54th Annual Honorable Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition.  Since May of 2014, Casey has been working as an intern with the Chester County District Attorney's Office in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  She was also awarded a Walter Lucas Public Interest Fellowship in 2014. Casey graduated from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 2012. She is interested in criminal law.


Michelle Michelson is the 2014-2015 Reimel Competition Co-Chair. Last year, Michelle was a finalist in the 54th Annual Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition and won “Best Brief”. Michelle also competed at the John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Competition last year. Since May of 2013, Michelle has been working as an intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Currently, Michelle is also an extern for the Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation. Michelle is interested in criminal law, health care law, and tort law.


Richard Santosusso is the 2014-2015 Reimel Competition Co-Chair. In 2014 Richard competed at the John J. Gibbons Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition. Richard was a finalist at the 54th Annual Honorable Theodore L Reimel Moot Court Competition where he also won best brief. This past summer Richard worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Denis Cohen of the Philadelphia Court of Common Please. Additionally, he is a member of the J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court. Richard graduated manga cum laude from Seton Hall University with a B.A. in Political Science.


Steven Patton is the 2014-2015 Co-Director of External Competitions. Last year, he was a quarterfinalist at the National Religious Freedom Competition at the George Washington University School of Law as well as a national finalist at the American Bar Association Labor Law Trial Competition. This past summer, Steve worked as a certified legal intern in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Prior to that he was a law clerk with Graff & Associates, LLC. Steve is from Northeast Philadelphia and graduated magna cum laude from La Salle University with a B.A. in political science and psychology. He is interested in litigation and criminal law.


Dana Morton is the 2014-2015 Co-Director of External Competitions. In 2013, Dana competed at the Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition in Buffalo, New York. For the past two summers she has worked as a legal intern at the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office in Trenton, New Jersey. Dana is from Monmouth County, New Jersey. In 2012, Dana graduated summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey. There she received a B.A. in Psychology. Dana is interested in criminal law, and will be working as a judicial law clerk in Monmouth County upon graduation.


Dave (Baldev) Singh is the 2014-2015 Director of Summer Competition and Special Projects. In 2014, Dave competed at the Tulane Mardis Gras Sports Law Competition in New Orleans. This past summer, Dave worked as a certified legal intern for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. He is from South Jersey, and graduated from Drexel University in 2012. Dave is interested in criminal law, immigration law, and sports law.


William Burrows is the Judicial Liaison of the 2014-2015 Moot Court Board. Last year, William competed at the National Moot Court Competition in Charleston, South Carolina where his team advanced to the semi-final round. William also won the 54th Annual Honorable Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition and was named best oralist. Since November of 2013, William has been working as an intern in the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. In the Summer of 2013, William worked in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania as a clerk for then President Judge Correale Stevens. William graduated from Penn State University in 2012. He is interested in criminal law.


Mark Hewlett is the Board Administrator of the 2014-2015 Moot Court Board. Last year, Mark was a winner of the 54th Annual Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition. Mark also competed in the Vanderbilt University First Amendment Competition in Nashville. Since May of 2014, Mark has worked as a certified legal intern for the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. In 2012, Mark graduated with high distinction from Pennsylvania State University, where he studied advertising, psychology, and world literature. He is from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania and is interested in both criminal and civil litigation.
