Igniting the Heart. Inspiring the Mind. Illuminating the Spirit.
The Villanova University Strategic Plan represents the collective efforts of Villanova community members, and will guide the work of our university through the next decade. It will help us to navigate the challenges of today’s higher education landscape while remaining true to our Augustinian values and traditions. It will also provide us with direction as we inspire current and future generations of Villanova students to achieve academic excellence, cultivate their intellectual curiosity, and deepen their compassion for others.

Rev. Peter M. Donohue, O.S.A.
President
Campus Master Plan
Shortly after his selection as Villanova University’s 32nd President in June 2006, Father Peter M. Donohue commissioned the development of a Campus Master Plan, with the goal of creating a roadmap for the future construction, renewal, and maintenance of Villanova’s campus.
Villanova selected Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates, a Philadelphia firm with extensive experience in campus planning for academic institutions, to lead the University’s planning efforts. The process began in Spring 2007 and yielded a series of Final Recommendations developed in concert with Villanova’s Strategic Plan which were presented to the University’s Board of Trustees in October 2008. The Final Recommendations contain an assessment of current and future space requirements as well as suggestions for ways to maximize campus resources and the physical plant, while remaining flexible to adapt to changing needs.
The Final Recommendations are available for review on this website. Additional reports are available to view by members of the Villanova Community as part of the Office of the President tab in the myNOVA portal. Questions, comments, and feedback related to the Campus Master Plan are welcomed and can be directed to:
