Tony graduated from Villanova University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Honors Concentration. Upon graduation Tony joined Lincoln Financial Group in Hartford, CT as part of their Professional Development Program. Tony accepted a position as a Project Manager in Underwriting & New Business in 2009 where he was ultimately promoted to the manager of this team in late 2010. After developing a strong team of Project Managers and Operational Excellence Consultants within the department, Tony recently began a new role in 2012 in which he has been tasked to develop a team focused on promoting the strengths of the department and improving communications with their customers.
Tony remains active in the community through various volunteer committees including a lunch program reading to elementary school students at local city schools and The United Way. He also enjoys being an active mentor for employees within his company. Tony is currently studying for his GMAT and is hoping to start the Part-Time MBA Program at UCONN in the Spring of 2013.

I graduated from Villanova in 2003 with a bachelor's in Accounting. I worked for Enrst & Young, a public accounting firm, for seven years, all in San Diego. I audited various clients, including real estate and software companies. I left Ernst & Young in May 2010 as an Assurance Manager and went to work for American Assets Trust, a real estate investment trust. I was the Director of Financial Reporting and performed all financial reporting activities related to their initial public offering in January 2011 and subsequent SEC filings. In May 2012, I started with Intuit, Inc. as a Revenue Recognition Lead. I work closely with various groups, including Finance, Marketing, and Product Management teams to provide technical accounting guidance on software revenue recognition.

Title: 2nd yr Analyst at Scura Paley and Company--Scura Paley and Company is a boutique investment bank in New York City, and was founded by Paul Scura, a Villanova Alum.
I graduated from Villanova Honors with a Humanities Major, Business Minor and Pre-Med concentration. After graduating, I worked in the clinical virology lab at Hackensack University Medical Center where I tested/diagnosed patient blood and tissues samples. After working there for a year I went to a Special Masters Program at Georgetown’s School of Medicine where I not only received by MS in Biophysics and Physiology, but I also discovered I no longer wanted to be in the Health Care Field. Upon graduating from Georgetown I was hired by Marshall & Stevens in Philadelphia where I worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions department to create fairness opinions for recent deals. After 4 months of missing New York I was offered a job here at Scura Paley and Company to be an Investment Banking Analyst, which was my goal from the start, and I have been here for about 18 months.
So I have a pretty wide range of interests and experience and would love to share it with any student that is looking for guidance.
Ms. Friday started her accounting career with the Philadelphia office of Coopers and Lybrand after graduating cum laude from Villanova University as a Presidential Scholar with three undergraduate degrees - a BS in Accountancy, a BS in Mathematics, and a BA in General Arts Honors. Following her Big Four experience, Ms. Friday spent two years working for the actuarial firm of Milliman & Robertson while completing her MBA at Villanova University. After becoming a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania, Ms. Friday spent ten years as a controller for a Wayne-based financial planning firm, Kistler-Tiffany Companies. She also spent two years as controller for subsidiaries of PNC Financial Group before returning to the small business marketplace as Business Development Manager for Carlton Services. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
In addition to her membership in the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ms. Friday is also active in many other organizations. She is a past president of the Home & School Association for Epiphany of Our Lord School, a past treasurer for the Kistler-Tiffany Foundation, a member of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur National Alumnae Council, a member of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur President's Advisory Council, and a past Assistant Cubmaster for Cub Pack 117. She coaches basketball in her parish's instructional basketball and CYO leagues and is a certified USA track and field official. In 2007, Ms. Friday and her parents received the Steinbrenner Family Heritage Award at the Penn Relays for over 100 years of combined service to the Relays. Ms. Friday is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies.
Ms. Friday resides with her husband and three children in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Richard R. Hogan began his professional career as an Independent Options Trader on the floors of the New York Stock Exchange and American Stock Exchange. After successfully trading his own account, Rich was recruited by Spear, Leeds & Kellogg (“SLK”) as a Specialist in early 1987. Rich became a limited partner at SLK in 1990 and a Managing Director in 1992. As Managing Director of the Index Derivatives Group, Rich established trading operations in Chicago, Singapore, and London as well as other satellite operations. SLK’s domestic and international index trading and specialist operations nurtured Exchange Traded Funds (“ETFs”) as Specialist in SPDRs, WEBS, Sector SPDRs, iShares and other ETFs. Rich worked closely with Exchange staff, issuers, index providers and others in conceiving, designing, developing, launching, marketing and trading new ETFs. Notably, he championed the idea of a fixed income ETF. In 2000, Rich became a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs when SLK was merged. He played a critical role in combining the ETF operations of SLK, Goldman and Hull Trading, a prior Goldman acquisition. Since 2002, Rich has been actively managing his own portfolio as CEO of Mont Blanc Holdings LLC. He spent five years living in France and Switzerland in pursuit of a love of skiing, climbing and alpinism. He resides in New York City with his wife and four children. Rich is a Founder and Managing Partner of Yorkville ETF Advisors, a sponsor of exchange traded funds. He graduated from Villanova in 1983 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts, Honors.

Ryan graduated cum laude from Villanova in 2013 with a B.A. in Philosophy (Pre-Law concentration) and a B.A. in Honors, as well as minors in Political Science and Business. Following graduation, Ryan and a friend started a state political campaign for now-Delegate to the 12th district of Maryland, Eric Ebersole. After briefly working in compliance at a hedge fund, Ryan moved to Goldman Sachs, where he supports the Regulatory Audits & Inquiries team in the Global Compliance Division. In this role, Ryan acts as a liaison between financial regulators and the firm to answer worldwide exams, audits, and inquiries regarding the firm’s business practices. He also works internally to ensure efficacy of firm controls, policies and procedures to be in adherence with its regulatory requirements.
Ryan has a wide range of interests and experiences in financial services, non-profits, academia, law, and government, with a particular focus on the intersection of the public and private sectors. While at Villanova, Ryan was named a Connelly-Delouvrier International Scholar and subsequently studied abroad in Athens, Greece. He was also named a recipient of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and served as a Founder and Co-President of the BRIDGE Society, the College of Arts & Sciences alumni relations group.

Tara graduated from Villanova in 2010 with degrees in English and Honors. After working in the publishing industry in New York City for two years, she made the switch to financial services and now handles internal communications for Standard & Poor's. Tara coordinates production of the company's monthly newsletter, which is sent to all 3000+ employees. She also writes and produces video segments for S&P's internal video channels. Additionally, Tara is a part-time master's student in Irish- and Irish-American Studies at NYU. In her (increasingly minimal) spare time, Tara bakes way too many cookies and has her own blog.

David Shreni drives Walmart's global mobile technology strategy. In his capacity he oversees new business partnerships, mobile product strategy and acquisitions. Mr. Shreni has experience in both the private sector and the non-profit area. Mr. David Shreni has served in a variety of strategic roles within investment banking at Goldman Sachs, management consulting at Booz & Company and the U.S. Government. Mr. Shreni has also served on a number of Non-Profit Boards focused on education, including the San Miguel Schools of Chicago, which provides innovative and accessible education for children of inner-city families. Mr. Shreni holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics, Finance and International Business from Villanova University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Maura Topper graduated from Villanova University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business (Finance). Maura then worked as a senior accountant in the audit practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP in New York. At Deloitte, Maura assisted with the planning and execution of audits for large financial services clients in the banking industry. Maura joined MSG Promotions, Inc. in October 2010 as an Account Executive after previously working with MSG at the 2010 and 2008 U.S. Opens. Her responsibilities included operations coordination for corporate hospitality venues, preparation of the hospitality venues prior to the Championship and assisting in the management of corporate villages during Championship Week. Maura currently resides in New York, NY and is originally from Bethlehem, PA.
