Villanova will provide a maximum of $4,100 each to up to 14 qualifying students for the 2013–14 academic year. This amount will be matched by the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).
Villanova's Yellow Ribbon Program funds will be awarded to qualifying students on a first-come, first-served basis. To be considered, qualifying students must:
- Be using Chapter 33, Post-9/11 GI benefits at the 100% eligibility level; and
- Be accepted for enrollment to a degree program or be currently enrolled in a degree program at Villanova University; and
- Submit the Certificate of Eligibility provided to them by the VA to Villanova University's School Certifying Official (SCO).
Recipients will be selected based upon the date by which both conditions are met.
Villanova University has selected the 14 Yellow Ribbon Recipients for the 2013-14 academic year.
