In recognition of Earth Day activities and the University's commitment to sustainability, I am including a story of daily choices below highlighting opportunities and information to improve your life, workplace and the planet. To get you thinking, here are ten tips to personally curb global warming and improve your workplace.  Why not visit our workplace to see a few of Villanova's initiatives: a green roof, solar panels, a pesticide-free arboreteum, cafeterias which compost and use biodegradable plates and more?

Education Opportunities

Upcoming certification programs in April and May include Six Sigma  for Project  Manager and the Essentials of Human Resources.  These non-credit  professional development courses and are offered through the Office of Continuing Studies.  These and other programs can be offered on-site at area employers. Villanova is  hosting "One Day University" on Saturday, May 3rd. Participants will enjoy presentations by some of the nation's best instructors from Villanova University, Yale, Dartmouth and the University of Pennsylvania. Seminars will include "How to Love Shakespeare and Why You Should.

Information Sessions and Advising

Graduate Information sessions in the Villanova School of Business Villanova will be held on April 30 and May 13th.

Adult students who are seeking to complete an undergraduate degree or who plan to take prerequisites for graduate study can register through The Division of Part-Time Studies. Advising appointments are available by contacting 610.519-4300, or visit www.parttime.villanova.edu for more information.  

Recruiting and Internships

The University provides summer intern housing through our office of Conference Services which has served many of the area employers. Space is still available.

Company  Information Sessions: The University Career Services Office (CSO) provides employers with opportunities to meet with students with a stand alone display table in a campus building or employers can recruit on-line.  Contact CSO with any(610-519-4060). For additional information, find out when the next career fair will be.
