International Service Project - Ghana

Wells for Relief funds, organizes and implements the installation of water infrastructure to provide clean and safe drinking water to communities in developing countries. It creates partnerships in these communities by educating local water system authorities in the maintenance of the infrastructure, water quality monitoring, and evaluation of future needs.

Since 2014, Villanova engineers have partnered with Wells for Relief in the Lower Volta region of Ghana where they are mapping and monitoring sustainable hand pumps for functionality, reliability and quality with regard to social, technological and environmental factors.
