2017 SWM Symposium

Every other year the Villanova Urban Stormwater Partnership (VUSP) welcomes all parties involved in stormwater management to the Villanova University campus for a three day event. Aimed at bringing together academics, engineers, planners, land developers, conservation groups, and manufacturers as well as representatives from local and state government, the event is split into two portions. A municipal workshop geared towards non-engineers is held on the first day; this year’s workshop was entitled Beyond Regulations: Motivating Community Participation in Stormwater Reduction. The second and third days are filled with the symposium at which engineers and practitioners share their current best management practices and research work. This year’s symposium was entitled Resilient Stormwater Systems. Below are the handouts and video recordings for presentations given at both events.
