Villanova and the Partners of the VUSP once again hosted the Pennsylvania Stormwater Symposium - Stormwater from the Ground Up on 17th and 18th October 2013. The symposium was preceded by a municipal workshop for 170 municipal officials on the topic of financing stormwater management. The workshop was organized by Temple-Villanova Sustainable Stormwater Initiative (TVSSI). Supported by Xeripave, the workshop and symposium proceedings were recorded for future use.

We had a great crowd of close ot 270 people. We had the honor of being addressed by E. Christopher Abruzzo, Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Lee McDonnell, Director of PaDEP's Bureau of Point and Non Point Source Management,  and Ken Murin, Chief, Bureau of Waterways Engineering and Wetlands also attended the plenary session and talked about what is happening at PaDEP.

We had over 50 concurrent technical presentations on all phases of stormwater management and also hosted a poster session, and reception. The second day of the symposium concluded with our yearly tours.
