Dr. Moeness Amin, Director for the Center for Advanced Communications (CAC), received in Barcelona on September 5th, 2012, a Certificate of Appreciation (CoA) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain. The Certificate was awarded to Dr. Amin in recognition of his successful collaborative efforts with the UPC over the last two decades. Currently, Dr. Amin serves as co-advisor of a doctoral student from Catalonia who spent six months at the CAC last year.
Dr. Amin’s extensive international research collaborations have resulted in his receiving Certificates of Appreciations not only from Spain, but also from Australia, France, Germany, Montenegro, and Singapore. These collaborations have resulted in 60 publications co-authored by faculty and students abroad. The CAC continues to attract visitors from all over the world who seek to expand their knowledge in the areas of Radar, Antennas, Communications, and Ultrasound.
