Structural Engineering

The graduate program in Structural Engineering allows students to pursue advanced study in:

  • Structural design
  • Mechanics and analysis
  • Structural dynamics

The curriculum offers a balance of design, analysis and theory, with emphasis placed on modern structural codes and practical applications.

Students in this program pursue the Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MCE) degree. The program is designed for part-time or full-time study, with courses offered in the evenings on campus and also through E-Learning.

Degree Requirements

Under the guidance of the advisor, a student will arrange a Plan of Study. Students must complete ten courses including all five of the required courses below, as well as five electives. Refer to the program schedule for additional information.
