Why Chemical Engineering?

Here's Why!

"Hi Dr. Weinstein,
I took your nanomaterials class last spring in case you needed a 'name-reminder'. I really enjoyed your class, it was one of my favorite science classes, and the only engineering class that I took. Being a chemistry major I figured that my chemistry classes would be the most directly useful - but I was wrong. I am working at DuPont in Wilmington in R & D and have used pretty much everything I learned in your class (I've had to use all of the surface tension apparatus and surfactant information) I am working with protecting solutions - mainly fluorinated surfactants. I just wanted to let you know how much your class interested me and is now literally paying off (in both money and experience, who'd of thought)..."
Cheers,
Rebecca Chappel
Class of 2007
