The following student teams and organizations are specific to, or predominantly made up of Civil and Environmental Engineering majors:

American Society of Civil Engineers – Villanova chapter
A student branch of the professional civil engineering society.

Chi Epsilon
Civil Engineering honor society

GeoWall Team
The GeoWall team competes in an annual event that requires fabricating a reinforced retaining wall using only poster board and craft paper.

Institute of Transportation Engineers – Villanova chapter
ITE is an international educational and scientific association of transportation professionals who are responsible for meeting mobility and safety needs.

National Society of Professional Engineers – Villanova chapter
The student chapter focuses on three core competencies; education, career development and service and social awareness.
Moderator:  Dr. Peter Staffeld

NovaCANE (Community Action by New Engineers)
Engineering club for sixth and seventh grade students at a number of regional middle schools.
Moderator: Dr. David Dinehart

Steel Bridge 
A student organization that designs and fabricates a steel bridge according to rules prescribes by specific competitions.
