Core Curriculum

Undergraduate engineering students may qualify for a Bachelor of Science degree in the College of Engineering by successfully complete all of the core curriculum courses, those major courses required for the particular engineering degree sought, and a series of electives.

Core Curriculum

 

Curriculum Specifics

Students must achieve cumulative overall and technical grade point averages of at least 2.00 in their course work.

At least half of all the engineering courses and, normally, the final 30 credits of the B.S. degree must be taken at Villanova University.

All undergraduate degree requirements should normally be completed within a four-year period. Students are responsible to know and to fulfill all degree requirements.

Choose Major

Engineering students are not required to officially declare their major until mid spring semester of freshman year.

Freshman Program

All Villanova freshman engineering students participate in a program that gives them a multi-disciplinary experience in engineering analysis, design, and research. View the details.
