The Delaware Valley Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI®-DVC) in cooperation with Villanova University is offering this exciting new seminar for beginners in professional project management.
The course is a study guide for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM® ) credential examination and is based on PMI’s® A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - Fifth Edition. Prepare for the CAPM® exam, foster your professional growth and professional opportunities! ("PMI®", "PMBOK®" and "CAPM®" are registered certification marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.)
The Prep for CAPM® Credential Examination course is a fast-paced, three day preparation study course. It is intended for candidates who have been exposed to project management and are seeking to gain their first certification. Like PMI®-DVC’s "Foundations in Project Management," this course will acquaint you with principles and practices in project management. Just as important, this course concentrates on preparation for PMI’s® Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) credential exam. Students will review material typically covered in the exam and will receive instruction on how to best prepare for the examination. The full 3-day sessions of Prep for CAPM® meet PMI's® requirement of 23 hours of formal project management education in order to be eligible to sit for the CAPM® Credential Examination.
