About the Program

The 2-day course will be offered this Fall 2014 and will build on materials that you have learned through our Foundations, Essentials, and PMP® Prep classes. This course is designed for the PMP®  to utilize those skills effectively and efficently. Now you can leverage the value of the PMBOK® in an applied manner that allows you to achieve a whole new level of project success! Because Villanova is a Registered Education Provider with the Project Management Institution, students will receive 14 PDU’s upon successful completion of the course.

By enrolling in the class, participants will be given the opportunity to:

  • Follow a set step-by-step process to complete a project with the PMBOK® methodology.
  • Be trained on project management templates that they can keep and re-use on their job.
  • Apply the key PMBOK® tools and techniques to project management activities in a detailed and more realistic manner that is not available in other project management courses.
  • Integrate all of their project management activities within the context of a Project Management Office (PMO).  They will see how to set up a PMO and leverage its value.
  • Project management collaboration tools will be discussed, including SharePoint, and how they can better manage virtual teams.
