Why did you choose the Villanova MSF: I chose Villanova for the location, fast-paced 1 year program and the fellowship opportunity to work with professors on their research.

Why did you choose the Villanova MSF: I had a career change from research to finance. The Villanova MSF attracts me by its academic excellence, great location, strong alumni network, and small class. Everything about the program is fantastic. 

Goals or plans for the career after graduating from Villanova: After graduating from Villanova, I would like to work in investment management in Greater New York area. My fields of interest include Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Risk Management, Equity Research and Investment Banking. 

Plans to take the CFA: I am going to take the CFA level 3 exam in June 2018.

Why did you choose the Villanova MSF: I chose Villanova’s MSF because of the pace, size, and strength of the network it provided. Villanova’s MSF is a condensed and highly efficient model which allows you to pivot and enhance your career in a time effective manner. The relatively small cohort allows you to build intense personal relationships with your peers and educators which is further enhanced by your access to a highly involved and influential group of alumni.

Goals or plans for career after graduation from Villanova: After graduation, I hope to work in either management consulting or market regulation with the Federal Reserve Bank System or one of the other government agencies such as the SEC, FINRA, or FDIC.

Plans to take the CFA: After graduation, I hope to at least sit for the first level of the CFA exam.

Why I chose Villanova: I chose Villanova due to its prestigious reputation in the Greater NYC area as well as the competitive nature of the program. The cohort aspect was an added benefit of the program that really helped me become closer with my classmates.

Career Plans Upon Graduation: Break into an IB role or get on a buy-side trading desk

Plans to take the CFA: I plan to sit for the CFA level 1 exam in June of 2018 after the end of this program
