Villanova University presents a new leadership program for the business professional.

Business Essentials: MBA in a Day Series is designed for non-finance professionals looking to develop business acumen, managers facing new leadership challenges, and individuals considering an MBA program. Delivered once a month on four Fridays, Business Essentials: MBA in a Day Series provides a broad overview of management topics. It is facilitated by prominent faculty from the Villanova School of Business who offer a dynamic, real-world perspective on the changing business environment.

Participants can choose to take all four sessions of the series or any combination of individual sessions.

Completion of the full series awards participants the following benefits:

  • 1.5 elective credits towards a Villanova Fast, Flex or Online MBA degree, if accepted to the program or tution credit for the Executive MBA, if accepted to the Villanova Executive MBA program
  • Will receive two Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or one CEU for completing two days of the program
  • Will receive a Villanova University Business Essentials certificate

The 4-day series is designed to enhance strategic decision-making and critical problem-solving skills by gaining knowledge in these specific disciplines:

Session #1 Friday, September 19th   
Financial Statement Analysis / Leadership
Session #2 Friday, October 17th What is Strategy? / Analytics   
Session #3 Friday, November 21st* Finance & Firm Values / Innovation
Session #4 Friday, December 12th   
Performance Measurement / Marketing

Program sessions run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

*Though not required, it is encouraged to take Session 1 if you are registering for Session 3.

Location

  • Villanova University Conference Center, Radnor, PA
  • $695 per session day | $2500 for the entire 4-day series (10% savings)

*The program is recognized by most employers as meeting the requirements for corporate tuition assistance.
