Curricular Innovation
A major area of innovation for Marketing & Business Law at VSB is in the development and application of cross-functional pedagogical approaches. For example, marketing and management faculty collaborate to team-teach a course called "Competitive Effectiveness." Such a multidisciplinary approach provides both faculty and students with the opportunity to critically examine topics more deeply and from broader perspectives.
VSB faculty members have a variety of resources at their disposal to enhance classroom teaching. Several types of electronic resources and web simulations are routinely incorporated into coursework, and faculty members regularly consult with VSB's corporate partners to ensure that the curriculum is relevant and reflects global business practice. These corporate partners, including Proctor and Gamble, Vanguard, Merck, and the International Advertising Association, also serve as guest speakers.
World-Class Degree Programs
Marketing & Business Law at VSB offers a BBA with a major or minor concentration in marketing and a minor in business law and corporate governance. A marketing concentration is also offered within the Vilanova MBA Program. Marketing & Business Law faculty members embrace team teaching and cross-functional approaches and utilize technology and corporate partnerships to create a learning environment that prepares students for prestigious positions in the global workforce.
