Real Estate in the VSB Curriculum

The DiLella Center for Real Estate is changing the face of business education at Villanova. New courses in real estate have been introduced and both an undergraduate co-major and minor and graduate MBA concentration in real estate are now available to students.

MBA Curriculum

Students are required to take 15 credits of electives by taking 1.5 credit or 3 credit courses. Of these 15 credits, a minimum of 7.5 elective credits earn a specializations.

Center director Shawn Howton has been featured as a real estate expert by both print and broadcast media outlets. Howton has commented on issues including the subprime mortgage crisis, the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac takeover, and the real estate implications of the investment banking crisis.
