The Center for Global Leadership promotes a range of activities and programs to advance its mission.
Educational Programs
The center works to advance the integration of international business and global issues in the VSB curriculum by supporting faculty initiatives related to global business and leadership, supporting student participation in international business case competitions, providing support for faculty seeking to develop international business programs and courses, and sponsoring international executives and faculty to visit the university to share their insights with our students. In all of these activities, CGL stresses the ethical dimensions of global expansion and the importance of responsible leadership in international business.

Research Programs
The creation and dissemination of new knowledge on international business and global leadership is a strategic priority for CGL. The center supports research in global business issues, provides grants to faculty as part of an annual research excellence program, sponsors conferences and seminars on global topics, and promotes a climate that values high-impact research with global implications for business and society.

Service and Outreach Programs
The center seeks to integrate the pressing concerns of the public, private, and nonprofit sectors through close collaboration with organizations engaged in global business leadership, supports service trips and other initiatives focused on critical global concerns, and contributes to the public discourse and dialogue around globalization, global integration, and global corporate responsibility.

Student Financial Support Programs
The center is dedicated to supporting VSB students in advancing their international business education. To that end, the center is proud to offer several competitive scholarships for study-abroad activities. These programs provide financial support for VSB students who choose a semester-long study abroad, to participate in one of our summer international internships, or to participate in unique, non-credit, international activities. In addition, the center provides a four year scholarship each year to highly-qualified foreign students applying for admission to VSB.
