Robert F. Moran, a '72 Villanova School of Business alumnus, has pledged $5 million to establish the Robert Moran Sr. and Elenore Moran Center for Global Leadership. This support will allow the center to create more global opportunities for students, provide additional funding for such initiatives, and significantly enhance and expand its programmatic offerings. This was just one of several pledges totaling nearly $90 million to the Villanova School of Business, led by a $50 million gift from the Davis Family Foundation, as part of the University’s capital campaign that launch. Bob Moran most recently served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PetSmart Inc., from January 2012 to June 2013 and from June 2009 to June 2013 respectively, and President and Chief Operating Officer since December 2001. He joined PetSmart as the President of North American Stores in July 1999. From 1998 to 1999, he served as the President of Toys 'R' US Ltd., Canada. Mr. Moran spent twenty years with Sears, Roebuck and Company in a variety of financial and merchandising positions, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Sears de Mexico. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Villanova in 1972.
