Brian Carolan, VSB '93 and CFO of CommVault, joins CBA Advisory Council

The VSB Center for Business Analytics (CBA) is pleased to announce that Brian Carolan, ’93 VSB, has accepted an invitation to join the CBA Advisory Council.   Mr. Carolan is the Chief Financial Officer at CommVault Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:  CVLT), a leading data and information management software company. Mr. Carolan joined CommVault in 2001 as Controller, and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in 2006. Prior to CommVault, he was with Ernst & Young LLP in its Technology, Communications and Entertainment audit practice.

The CBA Advisory Council is a senior-level, invitation only forum that assists CBA leadership in connecting analytics theory to analytics practice through internships, job placement opportunities, assistance in the identification and delivery of analytics consulting projects, and providing guidance on the content of the speaker, workshop and professional education programs offered by the CBA. Anthony Reynolds, EVP of Ananplan, joins CBA Advisory Council

The Villanova Center for Business Analytics (CBA) is pleased to announce that Anthony Reynolds has accepted an invitation to join the CBA Advisory Council. Anthony is the Executive Vice President of Operations at Anaplan in San Francisco, CA, where he oversees Anaplan's growth operations, including customer services and support, partnerships and accelerated application strategy. Prior to joining Anaplan, Mr. Reynolds was the Global Head of Technology Partners and Business Development at SAP.

SAS Co-founder and Executive VP John Sall presented CBA's Analytics Thought Leader Lecture

October 3, 2014

The Center for Business Analytics hosted John Sall, a co-founder and current Executive Vice President at SAS, who delivered the Fall 2014 Analytics Thought Leader lecture on October 3, 2014.  Mr. Sall’s presentation "From Big Data to Big Statistics” was well received by the 150 students, faculty and CBA industry associates in attendance.
