Our joint programs permit you to combine programs across disciplines, for example, the M.A. in Theology with a Certificate in History, Non-profit Management, Education, Gender and Women’s Studies, or Peace and Justice Studies.
This program is offered jointly by the Department of Theology and Religious Studies and the Department of Education and Counseling. The option to include course work in education is especially important for M.A. students whose professional goals include teaching Theology or Religion in Elementary Schools, High Schools, and Academies. The program can be completed in two years of full-time studies or in up to six years if you work while you pursue your career goals.
This program is jointly offered with the Gender and Women's Studies Program. It provides a unique opportunity to graduate students in theology who wish to boost their credentials in the interdisciplinary field of Gender and Women’s Studies. The Certificate allows you to enhance your studies with a deeper knowledge of GWS, which has transformed scholarship and challenged fundamental assumptions in the humanities, social and natural sciences, and the professions. You can complete the program in two years of full-time studies or in up to six years of part-time studies.
