2014 MAUSRC

It was an honor for our department and Villanova University to host the MAUSRC for the second consecutive year on April 11, 2014.  We were pleased to welcome students and faculty from thirteen schools: Arcadia University, Cheyney University, Drexel University, Elizabethtown College, Haverford College, Hood College, Marywood University, St. Joseph's University, Swarthmore College, Temple University, University of Pennsylvania, West Chester University, and York Country Day School (affiliated with York College).  We appreciated the great efforts that everyone made to participate in the conference and to share their knowledge and expertise.  We congratulate the presenters and commend the schools, faculty, and staff that made the conference possible.  Thank you for sharing your feedback about the conference, and please enjoy these photos from the conference

Jean Ann Linney, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences here at Villanova, provided opening remarks, followed by a keynote address by Michael J. Engle, Esquire.  Michael J. Feedback shared by 2014 Student Participants:

“It was a fantastic opportunity to see what other students are researching and to exchange future ideas.  It also gave me the chance to get over my fear of presenting at a conference.  Everyone was so friendly and supportive that I felt relaxed and confident in my research.”

“It was fun and a great learning experience for me.”

“The range of subject matter, quality of research and passion was very enlightening.”

“It was a great experience to present my research in front of people and receive helpful feedback. It was also good to see and hear about others’ research.”

“I had a great time seeing people from several different colleges present the research they had been working on.”
