Over the past ten years, our sociology students have been very successful in starting careers upon graduation or pursuing a graduate education. The Department takes an active role in assisting students in whichever path they select.
Each fall, the departments host a "Graduate School Forum." Recent graduates return to campus to discuss their graduate school experience and speak informally with current majors.
A second forum, "Putting Your Sociology Degree to Work" is held during the spring semester. Recent graduates who began work immediately after graduation make short presentations about their careers and how they started them.
