The Division of Spanish and Portuguese Studies offers both majors and minors in Spanish and Introductory and Intermediate courses in Portuguese. A coordinator is assigned to each language to ensure excellence and homogeneity at the different levels of language acquisition. Classes are small to allow for constant interaction and practice of the language.
The Department currently offers a variety of study abroad programs, summer intensive courses, film series, honor societies, internships, and language clubs, along with other opportunities for overseas study through semester programs.
