Fall Colloquium

The Chapter's Fall Colloquium, normally held in September and entitled “The Vocation to Public Service,” explores the motivation for public service and public service as an honorable life's calling. Each year, a notable public servant is invited to speak to the Chapter about one's perspective concerning these important topics. In recognition of the speaker's contributions and achievements, the Chapter awards the speaker an Honorary Membership in the Pi Alpha Alpha Villanova University Chapter.

Spring Seminar

The Chapter's annual Spring Seminar, normally held in March, is a "Networking and Career Panel." Invited public servants provide timely information concerning the practical matters associated with entry into a career in public service, including but not limited to: conducting a successful job search, career advice, and accessing and utilizing professional resources. Panelists are MPA alumni and include representatives from local, state, and federal government as well as non-profit organizations.
