The Department of Political Science is pleased to be the home of Epsilon Omega, one of the best chapters of Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honor society, in the United States.
In recent years, our chapter has received special awards given by the national office for the work of its members and its academic advisor. The chapter annually presents the Martin Manley Award to recognize a political science professor’s teaching excellence. Various special events are also scheduled throughout the year. Applicants normally apply for membership in the Fall Semester of each year.
Students must have at least junior status, an overall GPA of 3.5, a political science GPA of 3.3, and be in the top third of their class to be eligible. Application forms are available in the PSC office (202 SAC). Dr. David Barrett is the Faculty Advisor.
