Maple's Uses and File Directory
Maple is also useful in some other advanced courses [see Cartography at its own site]. Folders for each of these courses have example worksheets or other materials. Almost all these files were created by bob jantzen and Klaus Volpert. You may browse the entire contents of these folders. Most of the worksheets are classic interface .mws files, but gradually many will be converted to Maple 10 or higher Standard .mw files.
The two top level folders are:
- MISC
This folder contains:- a wide range of interesting example worksheets [including Updating Apollonius: the Ellipse and the Distance Problem]
- nonlinear regression worksheets discussed in The Maple Reporter Summer 1998 Edition (pp.6-7: Fit for Anything)
- vibrating string project]
- a temporary home for "The History of Curvature" by Dan Margalit
- Projects
This folder contains two Maple projects by Vince Costanza:- loaded oscillator simulation movies, and
- a mapping of the Earth package
