Conference participants, who have indicated that they need accommodations, will be housed in Villanova guest apartments. We will cover the cost of accommodations for participants; however, we must charge a fee for accompany spouses/companions.
The guest apartments are conveniently located on Villanova’s West Campus, and are a short walk to the conference venues and the regional rail station. There is also parking available at the apartments.
We have reserved a block of furnished apartments in Gallen Hall and Farley Hall, two neighboring three-story buildings that are equipped with elevators and are handicap accessible. Each apartment ensures complete privacy, housing a maximum of four people either in four single-bedrooms or in two double-bedrooms. Each is equipped with 1.5 - 2 bathrooms with shower, a common living/dining space, and kitchen. All rooms are afforded complimentary wireless Internet access and linen service.

Check-in will take place in the lobby of Gallen Hall, from 3 pm to 9 pm, Sunday, June 1, 2014. At check-in, you will be given a registration envelope that will include campus maps, Wildcards (building/Dining Hall access) and a key/door lock combination.
For those arriving before 3 pm, we have arranged a secure location for your luggage at St. Mary's Hall. (The security guard at the booth near the entrance to West Campus can direct you there.) The St. Mary's mailroom lounge area is a nice public space with ping pong tables, pool tables, TVs, seating, etc. You are free to use these facilities, or, if you prefer, simply walk about the campus.
For those arriving after 9 pm, you are requested to alert the security guard at the booth near the entrance to West Campus. The guard will then contact a volunteer who will greet you in the Gallen Hall lobby and assist you with the check -in procedure.
Normal check-out time is 11 am on Thursday, June 5, 2014. At check-out, you will be required to return all keys. There is a $75 fee for a lost key.
If you have indicated the need for a room on the evening of June 5, then check-out time will be 9 am on Friday, June 6. There is an additional charge of $50 per person for this extended stay.
Please note that the fee for full accommodations and meals for the guest of a participant (e.g. spouse or companion) is $270 per additional person.
Note further that there are no vacancies in the Villanova guest apartments during the periods prior to June 1 and following the evening of June 5. Participants are required to make their own personal accommodation arrangements for those periods (see next item).

Free Parking for all conference participants will be made available at the West Campus parking lot and the Villanova main lot. However, you will require a parking pass. If this applies to you, simply indicate on your registration form that you will require a parking pass, and one will be emailed to you as a printable PDF file.
Meals and coffee breaks will be provided to all participants. Dining services will also be available to guests of participants who have paid the additional fee of $270 for accommodations and meals.
Daily dining hall menus include ever-changing, hot food entrées served cafeteria-style along with a large, self-service salad/soup/deli bar, dessert stations, hot and cold beverage stations, a breakfast cereal and waffle station, a bread/muffin/bagel station, and, of course, the perpetual Philly cheese steaks, hot dogs, hamburgers, and pizza. Special dietary provisions can be accommodated in the dining hall with advanced notice, and vegetarian dining is always a component of the menu for each meal.
We have arranged the following days/times for our group to have access to the Dougherty Dining Hall.
7:00 – 8:15 am Monday
7:30 – 8:45 am Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
1:00 – 2:15 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
6:00 – 7:15 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
There will be a banquet at the Connelly Center Villanova Room on Wednesday, June 4.
(Note: Dinner at the Dougherty Diving Hall will not be served on that evening.) There is a fee of $30 per person for the banquet. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included.
