Nonclinical Statistics - Improving Pharmaceutical Discovery, Development & Manufacturing
We are pleased to announce the third U.S. conference dedicated entirely to Nonclinical Biostatistics. It is organized jointly by regulatory and pharmaceutical/biotech statisticians and facilitated by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University. The conference will take place from October 15-17, 2013, at the Villanova Room of the Connelly Center on Villanova’s campus in Villanova, PA.
Members of the nonclinical/pre-clinical statistics community are invited to submit proposals for presentations and posters discussing significant scientific and regulatory issues. Attendees will have ample opportunity to network, share experiences and discuss current scientific issues with leaders in the field.
Students are especially encouraged to participate in NCB 2013. The registration fee for students has been reduced to $100. The conference will also be offering a limited number of scholarships to offset travel costs. Preference for scholarships will be given to those students who present posters at the conference. Student posters will be judged and a prize of $250 will be awarded to the best poster.
If you are a student, NCB 2013 offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the many career possibilities of nonclinical statistics in the pharmaceutical industry. Leaders in the field from industry, government, and academia will be present. There will be abundant opportunity to network during breaks, lunches and evening socials.
The conference Organizing Committee desires to have some professional quality photographs taken over the course of the conference. The Photographer would need to be present on Tuesday October 15 from 1 – 6, on Wednesday October 16 from 4 – 6, and on Thursday October 17 from Noon – 2. The Organizing Committee is offering a remuneration of $250 for this work. Anyone interested should contact Paul McAllister at 610 787-3233 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
