Irish Programs at Villanova

Irish Studies Program. Irish Studies explores the history and culture of the Irish people from the different perspectives of literature, history, art, politics, and folklore, enabling students to understand the richness of Irish culture.

Study Abroad in Ireland. There are two opportunities to study abroad: Semester in Ireland and Summer in Ireland.

Irish Courses at Villanova. Fifteen credits are required to complete the concentration, of which six are Core requirements. The Concentration also allows the student to see the art, literature, and history of modern Ireland from this perspective of the continuum of culture. Fifteen credits are required to complete the concentration, of which six credits are core requirements.
